Cost of replacing 525i keys

My friend recently misplaced his spare keys - any idea how much the replacement would cost him?His model is the one right before the F10. Comes with comfort access, HUD etc.

Replacement key for a Nissan Latio is over RM2000, so RM1000 for E39 can consider cheap. I'm guessing one for E60 would be over RM2000 as well.

It is around RM1800. That was the cost when carnauba autospa lost my key some 2 years ago.

Carnauba paid for the replacement. The key was actually reprogrammed in BMW Germany and they also disabled the old one.

I remembered few months ago , i called one of the advertiser inside motor trader ( almost last page or before ) . Specifically asked for a E60 key duplication with the control . They said it will cost 1k. I repeated my question again and they said.. 1k .

Try to go tru the motor trader and call the number. its a small box advertisement. who know maybe got durian runtuh.

I m sorry cant help to find out as i m not at home good luck

it costs around rm1800.... my car was broken into and they took the bag with a spare key inside...
so i had to order a new one .... but remember to deactivate the lost key at AB.....

wouldnt it be dangerous if you let this so call " profesinal" to duplicate your keys, they can duplicate another copy for them self and one fine day, your car will be driven away?
I guess is best and safer to pay the extra 800 bucks for it to be done with the authorised dealer.

If the machine really comes to my hand i think i will charge for RM600 for the keyless entry smart key. Might be RM550 for diamond shape for e60.

Both price not confirmed yet since the machine is expensive and the smart key not cheap also.

For until now the Original IR remote key and China diamond shape key for e46 and e39 are confirm RM400 which already done for some of the BMW owners.

Note taken of your prices.

Since you are investing your own money to buy expensive machine, it is only fair that you make some decent profit cloning keys. Otherwise why should you invest and risk buying expensive machine? So as a word of advice from me, I would suggest that you advertise your clone key and headlight adjuster services in the Vendor zone for a small fees of RM 300.00 a year.
