I'd just like to share my experience after cleaning my air flow meter today. Ever since I've been using the car I haven't touched the AFM. So today, while upgrading some suspension parts I asked the mech to clean my AFM & air filter. He used some spray to clean the AFM sensor as it is quite a sensitive thing so no physical cleaning was done on it.The improvement was immediate! The car feels more responsive and totally different from before. Rev goes up faster and engine feels more powerful. So for those of you who are newbie continental car owners like me try cleaning your AFM especially if it's been used for a long time and you may just notice the difference!

yup, i did mine too.. good result though.. u shld go behind n see the amount of carbon comin out..

nice..

1. Was it the AFM or Throttle Body (aka butterfly flap) that was cleaned?

2. If AFM, may we know what brand of spray was used.

Many thanks.
