I was at MSpeed to replace brake light - bulbs and Ah Meng actually suggested that i should modify the cooling system - from current fluid base to fan type (like Japanese car)?!. He said that there is a danger for the coolant to leak into the gearbox resulting in damage of the gearbox which will cost about 10k to repair. He said some cars have experienced this and he also showed me a same E90 320LCI which he has worked on. I hope i get the details correct, but it is along those lines.He also told me to change my fuel pump. He certainly put some fear in me. But i told him to let me think about it. Anyone knows about this and kind enough to share and guide?I hope Mspeed Ah Meng is not taking me on a ride.
