Did some digging and found out..

the M3 CSL comes with BBS monobloc wheels, while the BMW competition package "CSL look alike" are BMW forged rims. Fronts at 8.5 for the CSL and 8 for the competition package rims. Also the CSLs rims are slightly different, in finish and not as flat and are suited for track use only. For street use, the competition package CSL look alike rim is more more suitable.
The BBS CSL rims are the same cast technology BBS uses for their F1 rims.
