1. Kimi2. Alonso3. Trulliwhat do you guys think of the race?I think it's super boring again. No major overtaking, no major slip-ups from drivers (no pressure?)I slept in the middle of the race and my wife woke me up to catch the last 5 laps. The Ferraris look good on the FC too. Barrichello managed to finish the whole race with 1 stop, 66 laps in total. Hmmm...

only managed to catch the 2nd half.... not enuf drama to keep everyone on their toes... but somehow the TV crew managed to let a few dramas slip away, ie MS 1st tyre puncture and Fisichella's reason for a nose change...

It is indeed rare to the Siemens-sponsored McLaren on the podium....

Alonso I think was nursing his car a little..

No major overtaking because the track was not conducive for it...

Schumi had problems with his car too...

Top ten finishers were all running Michelin, except one.

Bottom ten were almost all Bridgestone.

Retired cars also were almost all Bridgestone...

Guess which tire I'll be swapping to next... ;-)

:yahoo: :yahoo: MCLAREN!! MCLAREN!! WOO WOO!! :yahoo: :yahoo:
Hmm...more like Kimi :yahoo: Kimi :yahoo:

Bridgestone has been terribly disappointing for the entire season so far (except for the one off last race).

Its long overdue for Kimi after having sufferred from mechanical/electrical problems for so many races. McLaren has always been quick during the winter testing season, but their current campaign was plagued by qualifying problems and reliability issues. Now, that they have sorted out these problems, Alonso will have a fight on his hands...but he is so far ahead of Kimi  :beaten: :beaten:

ferrari sells cars so that it has the money to race.

bmw and others, race cars so that it gets publicity for the cars they sell....

different priorities...

anyways, have long given up on bmw...

I was watching it at home with a bunch of friends and we all fell asleep. I'm happy for Kimi tho, I think he really deserved the break. In fact, I hope either him or Heidfeld become world champion. I like the young quiet type to make a big bang this year! But, I lament the state of williamsbmw. They're going downhill and I wonder if it's due to lack of work-rate or ingenuity. Good to see the tifosi badly outnumbered this time, heh!

What do you guys think about Mosley's statement today that FIA suspect BAR Honda has been "cheating" since last season??

BAR Honda the ONLY one?
pfftttt...

Williams BMW lacks acceleration during the start. From pos 2 down to 4 in seconds?

Yup, BMW is not happy at all and made that clear when they made that press statement about talks with supplying Sauber. They said they were "envious" of other car manufacturers doing better in the premium motorsports event. With McLaren back in contention, BMW must be even more pis:sed off! :p

Well, I can understand BMW Motorsport's frusfration with Williams and hence their reluctance to take up shares in the company. Already regarded with having one of the most powerful engine (if not the most powerful), the current campaign is plagued down with aerodynamic problems, similarly last year as well. The Sauber is definitely better in terms of aerodynamic efficacy judging from recent performances and even Montoya had a tough time getting past Massa last evening. Sauber cars with BMW engines could be THE surprise package next season and possibly bring some recognition to the engines that BMW has been supplying to Williams.

Sauber is definitely a very technically proficient team in terms of aerodynamic and chassis but the Ferrari engines they're using are no slouches either. I think BMW should link up with McLaren and that will be the team I support, hehe!

its about time ferrari changed their tyres... this season was izzaaa and the strategy that they are using is not really working...

need to talk to tott...

You said it bro.... In my opinion, that would be a better combination if not the best.

I have been supporting McLaren since the Senna days!! As for McLaren with BMW engines, well it aint gonna happen anytime soon since Mercedes owns a some big amount of shares in McLaren!

I've been supporting McLaren since the days of .... well ... Kimi Raikkonen ... :D

hey, I'm a girl! :p

i support driver rather than manufacturer... last time people say hakkinen a bit cold... but compared to that raikonen feller... aba-aba-aba... wtf is that guy talking... worse than farking robot... tell him to go and learn to smile a bit from barrichello... i support mr schumacher...
