What Fabian was merely trying to point out is this, If this event is not brought to the attention of the committee, it will not be a sanctioned club event; meaning if ANYTHING goes wrong, the club will bear NO responsibility.

Any member has the right to organise ANY event. It is up to the organising individual to seek official sanction from the club or otherwise.
