This track really took the car's suspension, tires, brakes and engine to the limit. It was so full of drama from incidences of wall banging by F Alonso, J Button and N Karthikeyan. T Sato's brakes caught fire, JP Montoya was black flagged after leading the race, N Heidfeld's engine blew and R Barrichello finished 3rd despite starting last! Other priceless moments included F Briatore's look when both Renaults retired early. It was also very interesting to see the driver's and constructor's points position. BMW Williams in 3rd position despite hauling only 4 points but still sneaked ahead of Toyota on equal 47 points. Ferrari are now only 3 points below still in 5th position and McLaren closing the gap with Renault F1. What an "open" championship this has become???My sympathies to BAR Honda. I thot J Button was doing quite well in 3rd until he got intimate with the tyre barrier, heh! They could have easily scored some nice points with their cars running well. With Indy GP just a week away, F1 is getting exciting again!!</p></blockquote><p></p>
