I still remember when I was a kid and you see these then young dudes dressing this model up to look like the 1972 Ford Gran Torino from the TV hit series Strasky & Hutch. Unfortunately of course the Cortina had half the cylinders and it was less than half the cubic capacity of the Torino. I think the Torino had a Windsor 5.9 liter V8 shoehorned into it. The Cortina errrr ... well.... lets just say it had an engine lah
