Contrary to Astroboy's experience - I had bought many stuff of the Ebay both UK and US without issues. Ok, they are not car parts but sports goods, racing gear etc. I have in mind what postage to offer to start with so that helps..... and despite most of them stating that they will not send to most Asian countries, just write to them politely and ask. Of course a 100% buying record will help plus Paypal payments only. In regards to custom clearance, some of the items were opened before by customs ( you see the tape they use to reseal the package is from customs ) - i had never been stopped. From UK, I ask them to send using Royal Post Signed For and from US, US Post. No courier nothing....which will be of course much more expensive and frankly unrealiable! ( lost an Arai GP5 helmet once via TNT and that was to SG from UK ). Btw, no harm asking seller to mark "gift only" or put in a small value to the "customs declaration". Good luck.
