hmm... doesn't quite tell u why BMW choose to call the model range 5 series (i suppose it had to be a number between 3 and 7)... but an interesting read on the history of the 5...brgds
 
It was called the 5 series because it was the fifth model of the BMW stable... :D
 
wah does that mean that the 3 series was the third in the bmw stable..This is interesting stuff man ...cheers :D

i guess it is .,... hehehehe then me wheels is the 3rd in the stable ..Is it true ... i read in CBT sometime back that the e28 was one of the finest 5 series ever made...cheers :D
