Sorry to interupt your thread guys. I need help too in trying to get the correct combination discs and pads for my E39. I went thru the list in the Jan issue of BMWCar mag I got last week in London. Got no time to go to the shop coz its freezing cold. Im going to MAnchester again next week to go to their other branch. There are so many brands of discs and pads to choose from. I dont even know where to start. What brand is the original BMW discs and pads. They were saying in the mag that Jurid is one of the suppliers of pads for BMW. Is it still considered OEM or original? What about Textar, ATE, Pagid or Mintex? Could someone shed a light for me as I am quite confused. I am no race car driver nor do I drive like one. My current setup are OEM pads and discs dont know what brand from another owner a couple of months ago. Now it needs changing. :( Thanks!
