May I also put in another humble suggestion please? With the advent of the internet, there will bound to be many page visits by Malaysians based overseas, and even ASEAN neighbours (like me, from Singapore). I've been very keen to join the club officially, but most of the benefits would be lost - and the cost would be somewhat steep if I joined as a 'normal' Official Member, do you think BMWCM would consider an affiliate program/membership for overseas interested parties? It'll obviously be cheaper to join as an affiliate member - and, to qualify, maybe the person would have to be physically in a different country or a foreign nationality or whatever (so as not to take advantage of the cheaper rates). You can ask DocRayBoy about this - as most Physician or Surgeon Colleges (e.g. RCP(Edin), RCP(London) or RCP&S(Glasg) would have "Full" Fellow rates for Specialists residing in England/Scotland, but a reduced rate for Specialists in Overseas Faculty. He would be in a better position to explain the details, but I thought it would be applicable to BMWCM as well :) I mean, I'd love to get the stickers, T-shirts whatever, but I'd probably not be able to join in the physical activities/drives as often as I'd like - and affiliate members wouldn't have voting rights, but would still feel a 'closer' part of the 'family'? I guess the details could be worked out - but it's just a humble suggestion from me. For your kind consideration, please :)
