hehe.. I figure a Rolex keeper won't come down to my level to explain how his Rolex is better than Seiko.. People buy Rolex definitely expect more than just telling time.. and my expectation of wearing a watch is JUST telling me time with certain durability because I scratch and knock my watch a lot when performing DIY to my car. I don't expect it to appreciate, same with my E90. Just like telling a guy that treat a car as a transportation from point A to point B to get a BMW. Its different expectation, different target market la. Let's look at the 2 brands... I doubt they share much similarity. BMW.................................................................Rolex Mass production...................................................Limited production Majority buyer don't expect value appreciation.........Expect appreciation in value Sport luxury.........................................................Nothing sporty about it Balance chassis, RWD, good handling car................Accurateness? Value appreciation? Show off? Art? Mercedes are more suitable for a match for Rolex IMHO as its more luxury than anything else.. U don't put RFT on luxury cars because it will sacrifice comfort. Those who think they wear Rolex and thus owning a BMW is a good match, I think u bought the wrong car.
