Driver side front wheel bearing replacement Replaced my driver side front wheel bearing at Bomin Auto Jalan Ipoh since it has been making unbearable noise. Has been advised by mechanic in the UK that it needed replacement but the sound only come recently. Car jacked up Very rusty underside since it spent the first six years in Scotland where there's a lot of salt to counter the snow. Took the guy a while to remove the original wheel bearing, even the absorber needs to be taken out The culprit finally out. Very rusty. It can barely move anymore New front wheel bearing FAG brand. Bomin spare part recommended cheap part only but I insisted on FAG brand. Very expensive in UK. New bearing installed on the car. Installation took 1 hour, part RM260 with RM50 labour. I'll change the other side when wallet thickness allows.
