BMW suggested that the other end is installed in the glove box, but I'll keep my ipod in the centre console so why would i wanna do that? That holder is actually an FM transmitter, but due to poor quality and annoyances with the local radio station, and turning on/off due to the design of the pop-up cigarrette lighter I used the AUX-In through the fm transmitter instead. Much better audio. And the location of the iPod there is perfect for me to control it while driving and not distract me too much. Preferred the iPod control over any control through the BMW system anyway, its so much easier to search and find songs.</p><p></p><p>My next ICE project: Install an RGB input to play video from my ipod/portable dvd player through the head unit!</p></blockquote><p></p>
