BMW E38 Sun Roof not functioning. What's the problem???

I've problem to open my BMW E38's sun roof. It's jammed or the motor is spoiled. What's the problem??? Best Regards, Alex

From past experience with regards to motorised parts, problem elimination process as follows in specific order: -

1. Check fuse
2. Check rails for jamming
3. Check wiring to see if power going to the motor
4. Motor problem

if u'rs is the steel type sunroof, the chop shop near my office has it...if glass, u can just check whether the mechanism is the same or not...best of luck too

First rectify all the problems, then after no need to spend for wear and tear, go for racun mode lah ...hehe
