Hi all, would appreciate some advise on my suspension set-up. Been reading a lot but still cant gather much. I have an E36 318i (1996-M43 engine) and have been using the car for the past 6 years. Only recently (after nearly 4 years stint in Pg), I have decided to re-do my baby upon my return to KL. All the small bumps and scratches caused by PG's motorcyclist has been iron out with a fresh coat of paint, my baby looks pristine now! However, my stock suspension (Boge but now called Sach) is starting to give way (change them 6 years ago) and it needs a change. I have narrowed my options down to the following; 1) Bilstein B8 with HNR (not with Eibach as I heard it is too soft for B8s) 2) Bilstein B6 with Standard Stocks or Eibach (not lowered) Tyres: 225/45/27 Potenza Adrenalin Usual road use is Jln Tun Razak/Sprint Highway/Kerinchi Link/LDP/major parts of PeeJay (so will be expecting uneven roads, the occasional potholes and also smooth highways). Hence I need a good handling set-up but dont want the car to bounce up and down with stiff set-up (sat in some provo's b4 and my gawd, came out of the car disoriented and with a sore back/butt). To all the sifu's, some advise on both the above would be great! Thank you. To Anxious, wonderful/beautiful/inspirational threads!! Keep it up!!!
