Message: <blockquote data-quote="funfer_fahrer" data-source="post: 153911" data-attributes="member: 2733"><p>Nowadays, the so called reliability issues that most of us are facing is actually environmental issues.  BMW must make sure that at least 90% of the parts is recycleable and environmentally friendly.  Unfortunately, this action sacrifices the quality of the "solid feel" of certain materials.  The newer models of BMW although they are technologically advanced, the build quality is somehow disappointing.  A visit to a BMW plant showed that the R & D does not only confined to the cars but extended to waste management.  This is the standard that BMW must maintain.  Even the water that flows out of the factory is drinkable (same goes to Mercedes plant).</p></blockquote><p></p>
