Repair kit last yr didnt work, still slight leak.Anone tried STP® Power Steering Fluid & Stop Leak ?Thinking of trying it B4 changing rack last option?

STP power steering stop leak ~ rm20++
Used power steering rack ~ rm 900++

It doesn't hurt to try.It's leaking.If it works,good.Otherwise it's an experience learned.However,these additives are there to actually revive old and shrunken seals to cure the leak.If yours have been repired with a repair kit,meaning new seals,then I doubt it will work.Nevertheless,I would give it a try.

If you change the repair kit and it still leak then there is a wear somewhere at the shaft. No matter what type of stop leak you put in it will not work cause stop leak products are just to condition the seals for a while.

i wud buy the s/rack repair kit n repair it myself....

It doesn't work, dump the whole bottle into it and see no difference. Lucky mine is only a minor leak coming out from the top part of the rack. What the heck juzz live with it until the rack fails. :lol:
