Any one change the 520i shadowline

I did the Shadowline tape 3yrs ago on my E60. Took a lot of time but wasn't too hard. The hardest part is at corners, especially the rear window kink. I used matt, and the results were great from far. From near, about 90%. Not 100% perfect. If you're fussy or impatient, this is not the solution for u as it's near impossible to achieve a perfect finish.

Tried doing it on an F10 last year. Found it totally impossible and I gave up. Not sure whether the F10 is harder to handle or just my skills have deteriorated.

I try to do it myself, but out come is sucks.. ahha will try ask some pro to help. see how is that look like.. keep your guys update!

For executive look perhaps chrome finishing. For sports look either matte black or gloss black. As for my E39, it comes with chrome finish but as most of us face the problem of watermark I have decided to paint it matte black (find below the result). I did it since I'm upgrading my car look to M Sport and totally new paint for whole car. The tired looking pillar also being repaint to matte black. There is one forumner here did a good DIY by fine sanding the chrome. The result is polished silver. Perhaps looks like Porsche Cayenne .
