I don't think the stock rev cut is at 7k rpm... On the 325i(M), 6k rpm on 5th will yield 220-230km/h (actual speed), but the speedo will usually show a bit more... all car manufacturers make their speedometers over-read to avoid getting sued and maybe to boost owners' ego...</blockquote>
