Usually with new customers, Jason MAY charge a bit higher, like insurance... just in case you end up to be a difficult customer.. He related to me many horrifying experiences.. things like new customer come request for ATF change, then 2 days later return to claim gearbox from Jason.. another was a simple exhaust fix, end up accusing Jason damaged his entire exhaust system.. many such @sshole customer around.. the workshop rather do less business than getting "conned" by such unsuspecting customer with ill intend.. so as a new walk-in customer, we can't guarantee how you will be treated.. but this relationship is something you must build with the workshop if you intend to let them maintaining your car, and I'm sure the bill will come down eventually.. I sometimes get free service with such relationship.. :4: Mentioning the club also not necessary a good thing because many like to associate with the club trying to get good service and price... some even dare to say they are member when just a club guest. But the workshop is "smart" enough to ignore such claim because they know it's a common tactic from an ill intend customer.. :13:
