Hi guys,I've been thinking and planning to get a beemer for past 2 years and finally the right time has come (financially) I've booked 320i msport e90 from auto bavaria glenmarie, a pre-registered car year 2012 with mileage 10kmat RM185k. based on my surveys, this was the best deal.. your thoughts??I just want to hear some comments from the "tailo/otai/ pros/ seasoned udmers" on this 320i msport year make 2011.Anything i should i know? Anything u;ve experienced/ heard or know about?i would really appreciate your comments/ advise/ feedbacks.For anyone who has similar car, i would like to know:1) ive read enough on RON95 being sufficient. but how's the petrol and mileage? 2) what's the usual service cost at every 20km?3) i've got 2 yrs warranty to go... is it wise to continue service at bavaria or should just go outside mechanics?4) any club mechanics workshop for bmw in shah alam?5) i heard bmw maintenance would increase after 3 yrs and best to resale by then?6) what's the cost of the tyres? front & back? usually at what mileage do ppl change?I know this is alot of questions, but definitely would appreciate your time to reply.Thanks.Faizal

IMHO, based on my experience driving a 320i e90 courtesy car for a week,
Its a good car,but it lacks oomph.
thats coming from me,used to my e90 320d though

Hi namidub, Im not really a fast driver in general.. However, coming from a 1.6 Korean car I'm sure this would b a good start for me.. Thanks for ur feedback..

If speed is not my main concern.. Would this be a great car for me? I'm more worried of maintenance and petrol cost.. How is it in terms of cost?

1) ive read enough on RON95 being sufficient. but how's the petrol and mileage? Not too sure,i use Diesel. But i used RON95 for a week(on my courtesy car),a fulltank takes you near 500km (urban+hiway)
2) what's the usual service cost at every 20km? should be covered under BSRI, and it can be shortened,depending on your usage.recommend a shorter interval
3) i've got 2 yrs warranty to go... is it wise to continue service at bavaria or should just go outside mechanics? go service at any authorized dealer of your liking until BSRI finishes,than ask this question again.
4) any club mechanics workshop for bmw in shah alam? believe there is,but eventhough i live in shah alam,i sent to nearby places like kayu ara or subang
5) i heard bmw maintenance would increase after 3 yrs and best to resale by then? believe its the common wear and tear items which need replacement.
if you have no problem in reselling and buy a new car,why not? but we have so many members here maintaining their more than 5 years old car,and not so much complains.
6) what's the cost of the tyres? front & back? usually at what mileage do ppl change? depends on the size/brands. 320i should come in 17" and staggered if msport.expect 4-600 for fronts and 6-900 for rears. mileage depends on your treadwear and your style of driving. the stock RFT tyres lasted me less than 20k mileage and my non-RFT 17" goodyear f1 last time lasted about 40k mileage. my 19" now wears even faster! *ouch*

Scout around for used 325i. If it's not from auto bavaria, doesn't mean it's not good and same goes the other way.

A lot of poison coming, so must have strong will power. I would recommend a chip for your 320i, it is more affordable than a performance kit.

This is the case should you go for the turbocharged bimmer engine (e90 320d,f30 320i,328i and 320d)
If you opted for E90 320i or 325i,then is a different route to take
