Message: <blockquote data-quote="Redd" data-source="post: 88144" data-attributes="member: 200">starter motor jammed is not a common prob with the alfas. i'd check if its a dead battery. the selespeed pump is also supposed to come on to pressurize the system when u open the driver's door. this is indicated by a click and a faint whirr/buzzing sound. if u dont hear this, there could be a problem with the selespeed pump. this is a wear and tear part and it could be due for replacing.best to take it to an alfa expert workshop and get it checked out. HHK Auto Line in USJ19 is acknowledged to be the best in the business for selespeed issues. i recommend u take it there.good luck!redd</blockquote>
