I have a 528i M52TU Year 2000 car that I bought from AB. The car air con seems to exhibit a strange problem with symptoms as follows:- 1) First thing in the morning after a nights rest, the car air con blows warm/un-cooled air for the first 3 to 5 minutes then becomes OK with cold air.2) When I next use the car after 2 to 3 hours break, air con works immediately i.e. cold air from start without any delay.3) If the car is left unused for ~ 6 to 8 hours and started again - air con misbehaves and needs ~3 to 5 minutes before cold air is felt.4) Car has air con gas filled up and not leaking based on AB findings.  AB says it is normal for E39 to blow warm/un-cooled air for the first 3 to 5 minutes after a long period of unused - is this true?  Does any other E39 have the same problem? Or is this normal behavior for E39 air con?</p></blockquote><p></p>
