I believe once you have changed to the 5.0 bar regulator which looks exactly like the ori and hence fit into the fuel rail perfectly, all you then need is a ECU remap (to readjust the injector pulse rate and duration), either superchip, unichip or a SMT6 will do the trick. This will more or less ensure there will be no fuel starvation and your engine should be running in a more or less optimum condition

Rgds
Armereth, I have seen how it was done on the E34. Remove the internal parts inside the original regulator, and then adjust the external FPR. I suppose the adjustment thingy will be trial and error and butt dynos will be used. Have you changed the the FPR to the 5.0 bar type? The ori is 3.5 bar. I believe once you have changed to the 5.0 bar regulator which looks exactly like the ori and hence fit into the fuel rail perfectly, all you then need is a ECU remap (to readjust the injector pulse rate and duration), either superchip, unichip or a SMT6 will do the trick. This will more or less ensure there will be no fuel starvation and your engine should be running in a more or less optimum condition :) Rgds
