I left my E60 in the garage for the weekend while I drove another bigger vehicle to KL in order to carry some bulky stuff back... This morning when I started my engine, the iDrive showed me exactly this message shown below:"Active Steering FaultSteering behaviour altered.Steering wheel may be at an angle.Possible to continue the journey.Steer with care!Have the problem checked by the nearest BMW Service."I didn't even touch the car for the weekend. And it was perfectly normal at the time I parked my car into the garage before I left. Then this msg popped in my iDrive as I started the car. I tried to switched off the engine for a while before starting it again... but the problem still persists! Anyone facing this kind of problem too?? Any recommendation before I resort to the final action, which is taking my car to the service centre???
