I tried 'em both Hi dudes I was oso thinking of upgrading to a brand new car from my e39. Went to Klang Honda (2 weeks ago) and found the latest 2.4 Accord to be too hard and displayed sloppy cornering. This is opposite to my unmodified e39 which is soft and definitely superior cornering. Except for the beautiful dashboard in the Accord, I was underwhelmed. In April, I went Toyota in SS15 Subang. The 2.4 Camry is abit softer than the Accord. More comfortable. My wife likes it too. But what I did not expect is the cornering ability. It works wonderfully well for a Japanese car. Seem that Toyota got their VSC electronics spot on. Overall, I feel my e39 which is mantained regularly has a more solid build and feel when driving. What I found common in both brands (Honda and Toyota) is their idling. At traffic lights when the car is in D mode, you can feel a slight vibration. In our Bmw, it can happen only if there is a problem with the coil. I asked the salesmen. One said it is because a lot of people used the car and the other at Toyota said all engines are like that, no such thing as cannot feel one lah. My wife is not keen on changing for the time being.:motz:
