AB's 1995-96 E36 328 & 318

Would like to know how to tell the difference by just glancing externally at the above cars, assuming stock condition? (Apart from the numbers at the rear which many owners would have removed anyway for unknown reasons)LCP

erm .... the exhaust ? 328i/325i have twin exhaust tips .... single for 318i .... that's wut i can think of now ...

328i have crome tail pipes , and 325 have no crome tail pipes , as for 318 i single tail pipes ,
another way is to see the fender signal light for 97 below the 325 and 318 their light is bigger , similar wit the e30 fender lights . 97 above 318 and 328 their fender signal light looks like or same wit the e46 fender signal light , i belive tht cannot be change ....
this is my observation so far....

just look at da disc brake ....318-smaller compare to 328....i think so

What about the stripes at the sides (doors, fenders, bumpers), are they all black or are they colour-coordinated?

for the strips is all the same ,
yeah looks at the disc brake, 318 not ventalated disc ...
