Aiyoh! Just try checking/changing the ignition coil as most of the times this unit is the culprit for all seasons and reasons. No harm mate, if you ask your mechanic to use a replacement coil just to check.

check for vacum leak / crack of all hose, sometime a small leak can give this problem. also check d tempreture control sensor. as for the cracking sound from exhaust, find d leak n change d exhaust gasket.
