[QUOTE="sub8sec, post: 182308, member: 4047"] the 10cents might be required to offset the cost of 3rd party supplier, but the issue is not about the amount of money, it is about passing the cost of convenience to the consumer and even ask the consumer to pay for what would be savings to the shopping malls. this I find very hard to swallow:mad: just like the recent case of Syabas raising water tariff in Klang valley & Putrajaya - the reason they gave was more funds are needed to upgrade and maintain facilities so that the users would have consistent & clean supply of water. Isn't this the most basic requirement such company must fulfill before embarking on a water supply venture? the reason to raise funds to provide such basic service is again passing the cost to consumers, who are not demanding for superb services, but only basic clean & consistent water supply. i think the consumers in M'sia should stand up to such bully tactics from large corporations - whether private or government. just my 2 cents..... i would definitely choose not to pay the addtional 10 cents, although its only 10cent.
