Guys, can anyone share their FC for their 323i e90/e92? My e92 has been giving me only around 280-300km for a full tank. Im doing purely 100% city drive in Penang, which means quite a number of stop and go areas. However, isn't the FC a little too high? I noticed the fuel gauge fluctuates alot too.

My 325i lci is getting about 13L /100km. .95% congested kl city Which is about 420km for 1 full tank...For this week though, traffic is smooth so am getting 11L/100km and can achieve about 500 km for 1 full tank...hope this helps

Thanks. Also, i did an oil check today and it showed this:

I only serviced the car two weeks ago and hardly drove it but its down by a quarter. Is that normal?

When i was driving my previous e90 325i purely city driving start stop my mileage full tank also around 300-330 max...

2010 E92 320i. (All stock, no mods)
Full time RON97. Once a month of V-Power Racing.

Purely use during weekends only (Saturday + Sunday)
300-ish km per full tank (Penang Island use only)

500+km per full tank during my trip heading back to other half's hometown at Kangar, Perlis.
Doing 160km/h - 180km/h on the highway.

Hmm looks like the n52 engine is really a petrol guzzler in city drive, especially the detuned 323. Wondering if a Powerbox/Sprintbooster will improve the FC lol (theoretically) since theres alot of revving to get the car moving.

There's nothing wrong with your engine oil. It's at the maximum indicator. After i did my oil change the indicator is at the same level as showed in your picture. I don't think it ever exceeded the max indicator line. Or has it?

maybe lighter foot will help :) I drive really slow at town and dont rev much unless i wanna cut into people's lane quick.
I also dont rev much when im on highway cause the car can go up to 170kmh smoothly

Fuel consumption seems to drop a lil bit.....very light footed but only getting 370km for 1 full tank max. The computer is showing 14L/100km now.
Does fuel quality affect?

323i 2011. Full tank about 400-450km. 11.1 l/100km. Mostly city drive. Highway about 600-700km / tank

So i disagree that 323i are guzzlers.

Check your air filter, oxygen sensor, tyre pressures, that kind of things.

Did a full engine and gearbox service and the FC seems to be improving but not good enough. I've been getting 6.2-6.4km/l. Full tank lasts me about 330-350 before the light comes up with around 50-60km more in the range meter. I guess these machines are fc friendly in city driving. What are the usual things that can be changed to improve more on FC besides spark plugs?

What is your wheel size setup? Mine is 19" and I think it might affect in FC. I will try to pump shell the next time to see if my FC will increase or not. Will keep you guys updated soon.

I'm still on 17. Lightweight forged 9kg each as opposed to my original 17 x 8, at 12kg.

Could that have explained my relatively better fuel consumption?

Could be.

What is your average speed?

Mine is 34kmh and maybe that explains why I have poor fuel consumption

I tried driving a lil bit quicker last night. I drive 150-170kmh constantly at highway. I didn't see my fuel gauge dropping but driving between 80-110 kmh actually consume more fuel. Will try again tomorrow and over the weekend to give feedback as I don't drive this car everyday.

Less than half tank after travelling for 264km, mostly traffic jam road as you can see my average speed is about 35.8kmh.

Is this good?
