wow!! cool stuff... this is very historical,the first turbo'd bmw engine since the 2002ti :yahoo:

the turbines are so so very small though..

Yowsers, another area for potential problem if the "oil level sensor" gives wrong readings and of course more $$$$ involved. Me still prefer the old skook of using dipstick.... physical verification mar.

it won't fit into our right-hand drive cars.

the turbo won't clear our steering rack.
 
Oh really? That's damn bad news!

Not to mention, shoddy engineering on the part of BMW!

I thought that for once, the BMW 3 litre cars would have the performance to back up their price tag. Since taxation is based on displacement, and not power.

looks like my next ride won't be a bimmer after all..saw a 2003 STi ver8 going for rm195k.looking sweet!!

sorry..that was frustration talking.. :(
