Is been a while since we all organize the Sepang closed track day, i was thinking maybe this year committee might organize the same Sepang closed track day like last year which was interesting and fun get together.So what do u guys think of this year? Should we do the same with more kick on it?Competition between all the BMW and everyone can chip in some extra $$ to gift out some prize ( ;Anyway, this will not be going on without the help of the committees, so i think we'll just wait patiently with passionate.Thank you for your time( ;

Yes we will be organising a track day. Only the date is not confirmed. If u are referiring to the trackday in August 2009, it was organised on my own .

Hi Jacky,

At the moment we might not be able to slot in a track day for this year. Hopefully it can happen next year. For the time being you can join the HPC events to quench your thirst for speed :).

There is one coming up on 31st October. We even have our owns members as instructors, XXX, Fabian, Fireblade. There's a thread by XXX about the event. Maybe you can join us as Official Member too while at it.

Cheers

Yes my apologies.. :)

We have plenty of qualified instructors. I believe they all will be more than glad to help out.

Yup, a routine check up to the mech to ensure the car is in the best of health should do it. Lubricants/fluids etc. Tyres and brakes are very important too. Other than that keep it slow n steady. Have fun! :)

There are a few things to be prepare for HPC in terms of your car and self.

1) make sure all lubricants and liquids are topped up to level.
2) brakes and tyres are in good condition...( botak tyres does not mean slick, ok)
3) make sure all items in glove compartment box, boot..etc etc are emptied.
4) helmet is a must if possible, get some gloves as due to heat..hands get sweaty.

Is there a minimal tread thickness to qualify for participation? botak is the closes I can ever get to slicks.. :p

My definition of tyre use is,

~ botak, boleh rempit lagi in the dry, beware of wet road. Subject to tyres that has not been patched before.. :p
~ see canvas, can look for tyre d. No more rempit.
~ See dawai! Shite! dare not drive liao. :eek:
