This is so so so NOT Right! 20 people lost their lives because of some big time screw up in our system. Corruption being rampant, one might suggest. Just reading today's report make 'my blood go upstairs'. Quote: - Bus of Death, accident waiting to happen - Driver not fit for job - Driver had 13 summonses and 2 warrants of arrest - 20 year old bus had 19 summonses and DID NOT HAVE PERMIT to ply that route, blah, blah, blah ....and many many more blardy excuses. Tell us something that we all dont already know. Damn! What makes me sick is that all this lost of lives could have been avoided. Where were the authorities when we the public needed them to make public transportation safe. With 2 warrants of arrest issued why wasnt the driver arrested earlier? Isnt it mandatory of all public commercial vehicles to pass a stringent JPJ test for road worthyness before being given their CVL? It always takes an accident like this to reveal how shoddy our authorities are doing their job....or has this been 'overlooked' on purpose with some incentives on the side. Transport Minister should resign, DG for Transport Ministry should resign, JPJ CLV dept. Head and Pengarah should resign too and many many other junior officers who allowed this bus company and their driver to murder 19 other innocent people.
