Started getting this error message on my E60 2 weeks ago. Researched the forum and Possible causes of the problem:
battery
alternator
IBS Sensor cable
any electrical component drawing high current
Action taken:
Alternator - replace new 5 months ago
Battery - replaced new on Saturday 5th Dec...
