Need to modify any wires or just connect the socket plug ?

How much this set cost & how is the radio & touch screen sensitivity ?

Thanks

This is a perfect fit. No modification needed. I got it for rm1k. New unit is about rm2.5k

Good price & you should get a good reverse camera too........

Get a good reverse cam bro. I had mine changed every 18-24mths due to deteriorating picture quality. My touchscreen still gives out good pictures.

279c suggest that i need a thermostat change. Which indeed i suspected becos my udm takes longer time for the temperature needle to come to half when i start the car in the morning..

272c and 272d has few possibilities.. I m gona start with

1) spark plugs, cheapest and haven't change it anyway
2) afm, suspect the earlier foreman has screwed it up by blowing cda
3) look for leak around intake area, ccv valves and throttle body.
4) lastly fuel pump. At least can have peace of mind, this part has been change

5E1F AND 5E16 suggest that the previous owner has change some major item, like abs sys or dsc system, used item and have not registered it, perhaps i need to send to specialist to have a look on this..

What scanner did you bought ?

I bought this ~ http://www.lazada.com.my/konnwei-kw820-car-scanner-eobd-obd2-obdii-diagnostic-tool-live-codereader-amp-scan-tools-compliant-us-european-and-asian-vehicle-13435806.html

3 wks ago I noticed my car having rough idle whenever I stopped for a brief moment & petrol consumption was higher than usual.

A scan on my scanner showed fault code P0170, a chk online reveled this ~

P0170 OBD-II Trouble Code: Fuel Trim Malfunction (Bank 1)

Sent to my foreman & he replaced the PCV , for my engine, M43, its called PCV, some other engines its called CCV or simply called "oil separator"

Cost rm180 for part + rm30 for labor.

Actually a week ago the foreman already serviced my engine oil sump and changed the oil take up tube [ plastic made ]

Hi Rishi,

Am considering an e46 myself.

Would you really recommend getting this car?
In your experience do you think it's reasonable priced to maintain this model?
Appreciate your feedback.
Thanks.
