Dinan open house...all the E31s come out to play!

Dinan had an open house this past Saturday July 31st at their Mountain View, CA headquarters. It's a rare sight to have so many 8-series in the same place.

Ahh... I was watching Discovery Turbo last night and it showed one of those 840 being 'restored'.

I would love one of those 850! An 'old-school' V12 under the hood... sweetness!!!

I remember seeing the 8 series in the KL motorshow upteen years ago with the MB SL .. Price was more than RM1 million back then for either.

The 8 was a beauty then... still is now.... and still a head turner

The 8 series is really a head turner even after all these years.
Have read that the 840i handles better than the 850i but it's always nice to have a V12 under the hood.... And apparently, there's a bored and stroked version with 5.5L or 5.7L engine..
