Buying Used X3

Hi,

I am in process of buying a used X3. However I found out a few warranty claims which the previous owner had to make. This is a Jan 2020 registered car, however, he had to make the following warranty claims:

1. March 2022 - replacement of spring strut and oil leak issue
2. June 2023 - Aircon malfunction repair
3. Dec 2023 - replacement of engine mounting, aircon repair - install blower unit for AC

• Unspecified date - replacement of windscreen by external party (non BMW)
• Mileage 78,000 km
• No other issues with car.

Its good that you have the car’s service records. Issues with the car has been rectified, so that might be of some relief to you as a new owner. My guess is the car has a balance of its BSRI, no? If it does, quickly register it under your name with the authorized SC (if you decide to purchase the car) so u can have peace of mind for the rest of the BSRI tenure. Claim where possible.
