BMW E28 restoration

Hi, i may want to take over an E28 from a relative but i'm not sure of the upcoming cost that i will need to budget for it.

A little about the car:
1) E28 525i
2) Car has been in the house garden for about 7 years and has not been started
3) Car comes with a 2 digit number (14) and it's a 1984 model

What is the best price i should offer i want to take the car? RM5k with it's condition?

Also, is the a pre-check list before buying it?

How much should i estimate to get the car running? Engine is intact but body work and interior needs to be one. RM15-20k?

Interior needs some light work, engine seems intact, i could not find any body rust too.

Engine looks good where as the body and interior looks like it needs some TLCs. i would know what wld b the asking price for such a ride bro.
