BMW 330e gear shifter sounds

Just checking. My 330e gear shifter is making a soft buzzing sound when shifting from neutral to drive. Not sure if it's my imagination but the sound wasn't there before. Have any of you experienced it? Thanks.

Hi all..i having x6 5.0...i also having the same issue..when check with Mechanic he saying its normal..but i still hv my doubts...soon going to send it to bmw specialist

Most likely the linkages. That won't be too difficult or expensive to repair. If it happens to be the synchros it will be a much more pricey endeavor. Good luck I love the e46 330e! minotaurfightstore
