Bro Mario BMW E93 Pre-fl with Hengst Pm2.5 Activated Carbon Cabin Filter

The cabin filter probably had not been changed for quite a few years so basically the cabin filter was all clogged up, with alot of dust buildup.

A video we took while doing cabin filter change for a F10 yesterday

Bimshop Hengst Cabin Filter Change
Look at the amount of debris falling out as we remove the old cabin filters.
Thats why we always recommend regular changes of cabin filters every 365 days or 15000km, whichever comes 1st.

the F10 owner Bro Bryan can attest to how much debris we vacuumed out using his dyson handheld, all visible in the transparent compartment...lol.

just a little note to the rest of the F10 customers, so far we have noticed on all the F10s that we have done, there is a mesh like material within your cabin filter compartment that is disintegrating and getting all stuck on the cabin filter. not too sure what is that but hope our little sharing helps

Hi guys,

Thank you for the support for our new line of Hengst PM2.5 Activated Carbon Cabin Filters.
As part of our value added services, we will be sending you Service Reminders via sms/whatsapp when your cabin filters are due for the next change.

Hi guys,

We have noticed, through the past month of changing numerous cabin filters, that most car owners have not even changed their cabin filter since day 1. You guys can see from our pictures posted previously, the dirt and mildew buildup on some of the rides. Most are in terrible shape.

So besides changing the new Hengst filter, we have did a lot of cleanup and to make things even better, we will disinfect your Aircon via the vents foc while we are at it. Nothing fancy, just good old dettol disinfectant spray but it's more than good enough to kill off those bacteria, viruses, mold and mildew.

Hope you guys and your family breathe better and stay healthy

For the bros who have installed their new Hengst cabin filter with us prior to this, do feel free to swing by for a free disinfectant service

Closeup of a dirty F10 Cabin Filter

Here are some closeup of a dirty cabin filter from an F10 that probably have not been changed since day 1.

The recommend change is 365 days or 15000km whichever comes first.

Looking at the cabin filter, you can see that it is totally clogged up.
Hence, it is no longer able to serve its function of filtering air.
This would result in reduced airflow for the aircon and pollutants going around the cabin filter into the circulation system where the passengers would be breathing that in.

9 more days to end of our Bimshop End-Year Promo and also the Hengst Cabin Filter Introductory Promo.
Do come on down before it ends

Hi guys,

Just to clarify. The Dettol Disinfectant Service is Free.
No hidden charges, nothing. We do it free for you when you guys install the Hengst PM2.5 Cabin Filter with us.
We just want to make things perfect, not sell some extra service....haha

Normally when we ask whether do you want this disinfectant service, its just in case some of you or your missus might not like the smell. The smell's pretty pleasant actually so nothing to worry abt.

Just had a few good laughs when some bros looked at us when we asked them whether do they want us to spray some disinfectant after the cabin filter installation and they were like "how much ah?"....lol

Chill guys!!! Happy Holidays!! Merry Xmas!!!

Some bros ask us what do we disinfect when they install the Hengst Cabin filter with us.
It actually varies from model to model, especially between E and F Series.

For the case of E Series, we start off with a wipe down using wetpipes to clean away all the dirt and sometimes mold in the cabin filter compartment, followed by spraying disinfectant before installing back the new cabin filter.
Besides that, we will also spray disinfectant at the vents leading into the blower and the blower unit.
Thereafter, we will proceed to the spraying of the aircon vents within the car itself.
