Some with sharp eyes would have noticed from the restoration pictures that one of the wheels is different. According to the previous owner that wheel was stolen when the car was left at his workshop. These Millie Miglia wheels are very rare and we were lucky to find a brand new wheel for sale at ebay Germany. Managed to get a friend in Germany to buy it and air freight to Malaysia. Here are some pics of the wheel. Note the Offset is 10.

Surprisingly clean for a 34 years old car, there weren't much rust. Just some small patches at the booth cover, the booth seals and tail light seals area. A new rear booth cover will be installed.

Pics shows car is all primed ready for fresh new paint.

If the car is not classic, then maybe the owners can be considered one la eheheh

That would be most cool.. E30, E24, E31...

    We need the E21, E23, E28, E32, E34 to complete the series..

Have to wait till end of June. Have placed order for parts for the under carriage work and should arrived from USA in 2 weeks time. Actually parts cost for these oldies is quite reasonable when you know where to order them. BTW my earlier orders arrived without tax imposed and they are all genuine BMW parts.

One example is the door/window weather seals, I paid about RM1,700 including shipping for the pair whereas it would cost at least RM3,000 if I ask a local dealer to place the order.
