    Any bro here can recommend a good workshop to fix E39 in Malacca?

    Mechanic to hire

    Very good recommendations! Definitely a good reference when I get my UDM :)

    Quick Q, if and when I want to buy a used BMW, who can I engage to have a look and electronically check on the car? Thanks!

    I sent my E46 325 to BMWorld Desa Pandan before, the owner called Yusri, very nice guy. Now just upgraded to 335, started to go to Ingress in Mutiara Damansara, just got to know that my old friend is in-charge person there for Service and Repairing shop, the guy is called Medot.

    Actually, I've been wondering if BMWorld Desa Pandan is recommended. How are their prices and service? I live really nearby and it'll be great as an alternate shop when I need something quick to be fixed :biggrin:

    no need so much lah for just an engine oil service (normal service)..should cost ard Rm500-rm600..but then...it is alwiz unlikely that you'll get this kinda normal service, as most of the time, u need to replace some other extra stuff, like bush, gasket etc...then...it will cost more..

    When i bought e39 few months back, I've sent my car to the workshop so called bmw specialist at Jln Kelang Lama opposite NPE highway leading to Sunway..Lots of parts i changed and do all the services which cost me RM11k for 1st time. Then fewc more times i had to sent there due to valve cover leakage, O2 sensor problems ,misfire at my coils, nuckle broken and few others..After all, i did my own survey and i think this wshop charged me quite expensive on the parts and labour. Then my few frens recommended me to another wshop called Motoren @ Sunway..The owner George quite a friendly guy and gave me good explanation to my satisfaction on my car..I did the service there for the 1st time last week and my driving feels good after that and i think the price are quite reasonable. Below are my normal service + other parts changed ;

    1). Engine Oil ( Mobil 1 Semi Syn 10/50 as recommended by him for e39 since my car is a old junk car..hehe)
    2). Engine Oil Flushing - 2 bottles
    3). Oil Filter
    4). Oil Separator Hose - (leakage which caused my engine oil get dry faster)
    5). Labour + Diagnose

    Total Charges : RM560.00

    I will test this wshop few more times and will let you guys know the wshop attitude..hehe..

    Guys and gals,

    Will be trying out for the very first time a BMW specialist workshop in JB. Wish me luck! Heh
    Will list down what's done, pricing and level of service (the usual stuff) as a sort of reference and comparison.
