why would it leak.. unless its time to replace hose... if its the original, its high time to change the hoses too.

Check your servotronic switch and / or general module.

    Alan

We all know you are the resident E38 guru lah so save the attitude.

I'm just trying to be helpful to the OP.

When I had a problem with heavy steering, it turned out that a frayed servotronic switch wire resulted in the GM111 module getting shorted. At least this is what the mech told me. One new servotronic switch and one replacement GMIII module (from chop shop) later and I had my PS back.

    Cheers

Have consult mechanic bout this matter.

He told me it may cause by the pressure valve hose which the previous owner re-thread the hose instead of change a new hose.

Next project will sort out this issue.

bro, i think you have jumped the gun.. i was really asking a question as i have no idea what to look for when looking at a module unless there is a code..

but since you have explained frayed switch wire.. so it all make sense..

Been to Bomin Auto to flush the power steering fluid.

Used 4L new oil to flush the system & clean the reservoir. Add in 1L new oil.

Result = still heavy to turn.

Nope. They didn't diagnose my ride.

Just flush the oil. And the foreman 'Seng' help look around for the any others leak.

He also suggest i take out the steering box, pump & etc to do a repair on it.

    Advise?
