Gatal tangan this weekend. Second DIY is to Plastip the rims. First of all, clean the rims thoroughly. Make sure no dirt, oil, stain, etc. Then, cover the nuts and the emblem with masking tape. For the rim edges, use playing cards. Here is the picture: Once you are satisfied, spray one layer of Plastidip. This is the picture after one layer. Now, sit back and light up a cigarette while waiting for the paint to dry. Wait for at least half an hour. If you feel bored, launch Tapatalk and upload your DIY story, like what I am doing now. That's all for now. I will continue when the first layer is dry. ---------------------------------- jakpo
Second layer done. Now wait another 1/2 hour and light up another stick. Oh ya. When you prep the rims, don't forget to cover the brake disc with newspaper. Giant brochures work well too. ..... to be continued. ---------------------------------- jakpo
After 3 layers. I am not satisfied. There are some spots that are not smooth. Tomorrow morning, will smoothen those spots using thinner and apply a couple more layers. Another tip - don't do it at night. ---------------------------------- jakpo
Rim no. 2 done. Now my left side both rims are black and right side still ori colour. Will be running like this until next weekend. ---------------------------------- jakpo
