How does B8 ride compared to Sach M-sport? Is it more firm? My priority is skewed more to comfort rather than handling for the car.

I've change the diff oil last year together with the GB's oil. Bought the original BMW diff oil from Bavarian Auto. You'll need 1L (1 bottle) for the job.The workshop will use a suction pump to remove the old oil and pump the new oil into the differential until its full. After the change, the car felt smoother overall.

Still enjoying mine. Had most of the gaskets changed VC, OFHG, Oil Cooler Gasket, Oil Sump Gasket, Flywheel Oil Seal. All 4 absorbers replaced with brand new parts. Engine mounting changed w new parts. Front control arms changed w new parts. All 6 spark plugs and ignition coils replaced. GB Oil changed. Recently flushed power steering fluid. EO change every 9-10k. 4 new Falken 410 donuts.

Aircond still blowing cold with temp set at 25c, day and night.

Gonna change brake disc and flush rear diff oil next.

I buy parts from BA and labour is done by my friend who is a former senior mechanic from AB and now running his own workshop in KD.

Hi all, recently I sent my 325isport for front absorber replacement, workshop ordered part as per chasis no. New rh absorber part no is 3131 6796159 and original part no installed is 3131 8036554. However the appearance looks similar, but the length of new absorber piston is shorter (approx 1.5 inch shorter), anybody have ever experience this? Tq..

Is your E90 pre LCI or LCI model? Anyway, if it follows the chassis number, you should be alright. Otherwise, you may enquire BA parts for more info.

Based on RealOEM site, 3131...59 is left strut, while 3131...554 is the right strut. It applies to e90 2004-2008.

As per RealOem site, the pn are 31318036553 (lh) and 31318036554 (rh) which are exactly the ori pn installed on my car. When workshop requested from supplier (i think Bavarian Auto) they said these pn are not available on their system, instead they provide pn 31316796159(lh) and 31316796160(rh), which piston are shorter than oroginal absorber and workshop refuse to replace..

Try BILSTEIN B8 shocks. Use your existing M-Sports springs. Works like a charm :)
