What is the best, cheapest and proven soundproofing product?

anybody had done soundproofing? what product is recommended ? but not looking for expensive product..is it right for me to do soundproofing just to reduce sound from outside n not because of my audio system? looking to do soundproofing on 4 doors and rear bonnet area

I used brownbread last time for my E36. Good stuff but door became quite heavy.
These kinds of soundproof doesn't come cheap. Dynamat is also the same. These are the two brands I can think of zzzzzzzzz...

I used Dynamat Extreme on my Toyota. Good stuff, worth every penny I paid for it.

I've done Dynamat original and Dynamat Extreme. 4 doors and front fenders. Helps a bit but was told to really feel the effect, need to pull out the carpet and Dynamat the car floor entirely. Definitely not the cheapest way to soundproof. Cheapo way of doing it would be to use bitumen paint. It's sound deadening material. Haven't done it myself but believe it'll be damn messy. And smelly too.

try klauto the shop that does autofoam. they do a lot of soundproofing stuff so should know where and what to stick for best effect re reducing tyre noise.
