It's a biased judgement...knowing its from Top Gear hahaha..but a rather interesting programme to watch~

hehe :D not to offend anyone who is driving E90, but i always find the rear ugly (the light look like waja). the front design is brilliant, just cant understand y they dun come out with something like 5 series that both front and back look nice. But i guess some people will disagree with me and say the rear light of E90 look nice. (depends on individual preference). Y NOT WE VOTE?

I'm not too hot about the E90 looks, but it isn't ugly in my books. Just ask the general public if they lust for one :)... Surely deep down you don't mind having one as a daily driver?

To me the E60 still looks best among the new Bangled BMWs. Seen an ACS E60 and its quite a sight!

Unfortunately, BMW is an aspirational brand, hence people will still buy them regardless of how weedy they are or how ugly they look.

I do think the e90 is rather rough. The e60 is pretty brill.

Lets's just hope BMW does not buy other marques with great heritage. The thought of how Aston Martin or Lamborghini would look like, under BMW is very scary indeed. No good looker in the current BMW range IMHO. All of the current Merc and Audi range are better looker ,something that cannot be said in the past. The last good looking bmw is the e39, nice clean line. The new BMW especially with bodykits from ACS looks attrocious IMHO, looks like add on rather than seamless integration.

t!
I think to say 3 series is the ugliest car is pretty unfair. It should be the ugliest premium or luxury car. :D

Its not really ugly but it does not evoke any desire to change to one from the current E46, which in my opinion, is serenely attractive! It will no doubt sell as its a BMW. The name carries it through.

2 thumbs up for this baby....e65

Since looks is rather subjective, lets see how the sales figures stack up for the E90 overtime against its main competitors...:)

The E60 is doing very well, unseating its long term rival E class in terms of sales figures.

How do you spelll Z-H-N-G?
what the heck is zhng???? not really well versed in beng speak!!

i happen to think the e90 looks great apart from that dodgy rear cluster..small fix me thinks,no problemo.the Subaru Impreza looks ugly as well but that didn't stop it from being a cult car.

ACS cars seemed to look better in the flesh than in pictures..and all the add ons are functional.

Yes, Top Gear is biased. The E90 is nowhere as ugly as the Ssangyong Stavic, which is also available in the UK. They said so too on one of the episodes, which means they didn't meant what they said about Stavic being the ugliest car in the world.

i think we've gotta read between the lines la..these english pommies say a lot of things that they don't really take seriously.if u notice, they tend to say a lot of bad things about almost everything so i doesn't surprise me one bit.pinch of salt i say...

i remember when i was in my teens ... cheh ... i tot i would love to have an e36. cuden afford to even think longer than 2 minutes. it was just impossible. just kept drooling la see uncles buy, tycoons buy, tycoons wife buy, ah bengs buy, con man buy, ev body buy la.

when the e46 came i was like "o my goodness! they really designed something newer than e36 wor! Oh god please let me make enough to buy this car soon."

somehow when i heard about the new e90, i immediately went to a magazine shop in my e46 to buy it in hopes that it will make me go nuts and force sell my 'dream car' for the a new one (although it normally don make financial sense)

when i saw it " ....... " " err, nice hor ... nice meh? ... nice qua, latest 3 wor "

just din do it la for me. sold off my 2k 3 to buy a 02 3 (2nd hand). that's how highly i think of e46 3 as a whole. e90 failed miserably in my books

(for now ...)

maybe it just takes time to sink in, i don know. but til then

... i am still making financial sense. thank god

hehehe

Yeah, the E90 is not that great in terms of look, but the E60 is brilliant. The market has spoken, the waiting list for the E60 (in Msia) is 4 months. :) Can't say the same for alfa :getyourfactsright: .....

E46 still nice la....until i sell mine that is....

E90 not nice because i cant afford it.

bet it'll be the most bestest power super duper laser nuclear car in the whole if i have one.

Just wanna say -
e90 rear has not enough umphhh like its other bros from
5&7 series..
-( is it like waja or vios??) :dunno:
