Planning for a F30 320i

I'm planning for a 320i. Just wondering if other owners have faced issues with the car in any way. Engine, interior noises etc.

Sometime last year I wanted to buy a F30 320i for my wife, it is a good and nice looking car though for a price of around 240k but without navigation and reverse camera comparing to the Camry and Sorento that we are having, these are the convenience features to have these days in particular for women drivers so I ended buying a F10 instead with features that pleases the wife.

No worries, now 320i comes with navigation and reverse camera can be specified as a cost option.

Hi,

Im using nearly for 2 years now and so far everything working fine. Only drawback is as mentioned above for this price of car compare to camry and others, BMW should consider to have nagivation, wider screen, reverse camera and other as standard fix.

If you really have $$$ to spend and want to have comford drive with family you can consider 5 series because its worth to check. Else 320i is smart fellow and able to give you good driving experience except those extra features and gadgets.

Please dont forget to get special perils, BMW always "flood shy"

I bought 320i in April this year. Already send to AB 4 times. Mileage now 11k.
Steering squeeking noise - only on the 3rd visit can rectify the problem.
Noise is everywhere - according to SC they don't know where the noises coming from .....sigh !!

Wasting time to send the car back, at least 1 full day in the service centre.

Other than that is fine.

U can get those two as standard kit in the 320i Sport Edition which is now on sale for 259k.

Each car has its own problems but the interior noise is very common among all models...NVH sucks and lose stuff in the interior is another. As for other stuff..nope all ok as long you take good care of it =]

Yeah..mine ok now after sending it in 3 times and the car is stuck in the workshop for a month but after that ok....but lately I getting new noise from my driver door panel...have to let them check it out in my next service.

just another question. the F30 has a turbo engine. which petrol is better for the car. RON95 or RON97? I'm sure RON97 would be better, but is anyone here using RON95 for their F30?

It should run on Ron95 without issues, am sure many owners using this grade of fuel.

Been using 95 until the 97 price went down so much so I switched over.

You should check with the Dealers for more accurate information and pricing. Make it part of the deal before you sign on the dotted line. Negotiate to get if free if possible.

Update: tarak reverse camera yet.. taiko2.. let me know if you hear something different... f30 LCI is estimated to arrive in 2016 +
